Presentation of MARS track
MARS stands for Mechatronic, Artificial intelligence, and Robotic Systems. It is an international track dedicated to students wishing to better their knowledge in all these topics, and rooted in the program of the other tracks of the master department. In practice:
- the first year is only accessible to students able to understand French, as the 1st semester is only taught in French. In the context of a double diploma with the Brescia University, students from the ROB or MeDH tracks willing to go to Italy and to obtain a double diploma between Sorbonne Université and Brescia will be registered in this MARS track. The first year of MARS is thus dedicated to the exchange with Brescia, and there is no way to postulate specifically for the first year of the MARS track: students interested in the double diploma must first postulate to the ROB or MeDH tracks (1st year only) through MonMaster;
- starting Sept. 2026, the second year is taught in English, and requires a minimal B2 level in English; their is no double diploma involved here, except for the students coming from Italy in the context of the double Diploma with Brescia University.
